Coaching Staff

Dave Gnas, Head Coach

Dave returns for his fifth year as Head Coach of Dublin Coffman Hockey. He has worked in hockey his entire career, as a goaltender in Western Canada up to the major junior level, as a level 4 official, and as a coach at all levels, including U14 through U19 teams at the AAA level. Other coaching achievements include taking three teams to the USA Hockey National Championships, capturing a National Championship silver medal, graduating many players to NCAA Division 1 teams, and 2 players to the USA National Team program.

Brandon Ollanketo, Assistant Coach

Brandon returns for his second year as Assistant Coach of Dublin Coffman Hockey. He has over 13 years of hockey coaching experience, including four at the AA level. Brandon was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he played hockey and won a USA Hockey National Championship in 1999 with the Portage Lake Pioneers, one of the oldest semi-pro teams in the country. He has also officiated the sport for many years.



DJ Colombo, Assistant Coach

DJ is in his second year as a member of the Coffman Rocks Hockey Coaching staff. In addition to coaching Coffman Hockey, DJ coaches at the Columbus Chill Youth Hockey Association (CCYHA). He is the head coach of the CCYHA 2015 A Blue Jackets. He also has over 8 years of coaching lessons, camps and clinics. DJ grew up playing for CCYHA and played varsity hockey for Bishop Watterson High School.
