Summer Skates and Pre-Season

Summer Skates and Summer Liftings will begin in June. Both are a great way for players to condition, practice and get to know each other better, while working on building their skills during the summer months. PLEASE NOTE: Summer activities are not mandatory. We want our families to enjoy their summer together!

Ages

Open to ALL hockey players who will attend Dublin Coffman High School in the fall (including those who plan to play for travel teams in the upcoming season).

When

Summer Skates will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and July (times TBD).

Summer Liftings and Conditioning will be held from 11-12 on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Where

Summer Skates will be held at Chiller Dublin.

Liftings will be held at DCHS in the weight room behind the stadium.

Cost

Approximately $180/player for Summer Skates (16 on-ice sessions)

Other Summer Information

Fitting Night

We will hold a uniform fitting night in August.

Student athletes will select a Coffman Hockey number (not already in use by a current player). The Varsity and JV teams wear the same uniform, so they can be used for the rest of the player's years at Coffman.

We recommend bringing hockey equipment for proper sizing.

Uniform Cost

Uniform package cost is approximately $300 and includes:

Home & Away Jerseys
Home & Away Socks
Rocks Hockey Pant Shell
Rocks Hockey Travel Jacket

Bags can be purchased for an additional fee of $90. Helmets must be black. Neck guards are mandatory for all on-ice activity, including practices.

New for 2026-27, we are requiring all players to purchase a pair of white custom Rocks gloves. They will also need black gloves of their choosing.

Fall Captain's Skates

Captain's skates (for incoming and returning Coffman Hockey players only) will start up in September and will lead into tryout week at the end of October.
